Get To Know Dr. Maria Wytko
Dr. Wytko grew up in the Yakima Valley of Washington state, surrounded by countless apple and cherry orchards. She comes from a family that always placed great importance on the value of education, and she knew from the young age of 5 that she would go on to pursue a career in dentistry.
Dr. Wytko graduated from La Salle High School and went on to play volleyball and earn her undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating, she and her husband moved to Glendale, AZ, where Dr. Wytko earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Science Research from Midwestern University, followed by her dental degree at the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Wytko is passionate about helping patients to achieve integrated, overall health. This approach to dental care is reflected in the way she takes time to get to know her patients and conducts thorough diagnostics to discover the root issues behind symptoms.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Wytko and her husband enjoy spending time with friends and family in Arizona, visiting the Pacific Northwest, and enjoying the constant Scottsdale Sunshine. She likes to remain active and enjoys 4 am gym sessions, long runs on the weekends, and hiking the hills around her house.
What to Expect
The Patient Experience
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
You’ll receive your comprehensive exams, screenings, and x-rays, and Dr. Wytko will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule your next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, Dr. Wytko will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and she will describe any further treatment recommendations.
WHAT TO BRING
In order to streamline your visit, we ask that you please bring your ID, new patient forms, and insurance information if you would like us to submit a claim to your provider.
